Custom Company PVT. LTD, a pillar in the Courier/Logistics industry since its establishment in 1918, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. With a workforce of 51-200 employees, we pride ourselves on innovation and stability. This role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring developer to kickstart their career, contributing to the development and maintenance of our critical web applications that drive our nationwide logistics operations. You will work alongside experienced developers, learning best practices and making a tangible impact on our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications and services.
Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following established coding standards.
Assist in the troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of software defects and issues.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge within the team.
Contribute to database design and optimization, primarily using MySQL.
Learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies as required.
Required Qualifications/Skills
Solid understanding of PHP fundamentals and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
Basic front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a modern PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
Understanding of RESTful API design and consumption.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Basic understanding of Linux command line.
