Senior E-commerce Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Muun Home, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company. Muun Home is a design-first home brand that combines European minimalism with Indian colors, textures, and craftsmanship, creating unique and personal products for modern Indians. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing. - Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, cash flow statements, and forecasts. - Ensure timely GST, TDS, and statutory filings and compliance with Indian regulations. - Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. - Oversee inventory accounting, returns, settlements, and revenue recognition for multiple e-commerce platforms. - Implement and improve internal controls, accounting systems, SOPs, and financial processes. - Work with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure financial accuracy. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. - Collaborate with founders/leadership on strategic financial decisions. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter/MBA Fin). - 45 years of experience in accounting, preferably within e-commerce companies or online marketplaces. - Strong understanding of D2C and marketplace accounting, payment gateways, commission structures, and platform fee deductions. - Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software. - Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial data analysis. - Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory compliance. - Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership.
